When you need me, put your arms around anyone and give them what you need to give to me. There are so many who need so much. I want to leave you something- something much better than words. Look for me in others who may need healing in some special way. Let me live in your heart as well as in your mind. You can love me most by letting your love reach out to others, by embracing them and showing them what love is, what love can be. Show them grace and healing through HOOFBEATS, as God has placed this gift inside your heart. So Go, Follow it. And Lead others forward to second chances, to build confidence, and to find that extraordinary connection with horses. Always remember, Love does not die, people do. So, when all that’s left of me is love, give me away as best you can HOOF IT FORWARD
Credentials
I have a bachelor's degree in University Studies consisting of Social Work, Psychology, and Business Administration. I worked with people with disabilities for over 20 years. I was DD Certified through Minot State. I worked with troubled teens. In 2015, we started a breeding program with 1 stallion and 5 mares, which expanded to 4 stallions, 30 mares and 15 youngsters. We have had about 15-19 foals each year. I trained my first horse all on my own in 2016, but I lost her unexpectedly to an injury and started the SILK PROJECT, in her honor, to help young girls acquire their own horse. In March 2023 I started volunteering/job shadowing at a therapeutic riding facility. I have completed 58 hours of service. I am a Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor through PATH Intl.
I have completed Equine Assisted Wraparound and Equine Assisted Wellness training through Becoming one with the Spirit of the Horse.
We have an approved Nonprofit 501 (c) 3 status and an approved nonprofit with the state of North Dakota - Donations Accepted

Activities with horses designed to represent workplace challenges that most impact an organization. Horses can bring in the element of the unknown, which draw teams in to work together in problem solving and communication. Help employees and managers to be more aware of their unspoken communication because a horse can sense a human emotion and read non- verbal emotion so well.

Focus, energy, and activities based on individual needs. Horses are trauma informed, meeting us where we are. They are present, in the moment. Through non-mounted and mounted activities, horses are highly in tuned to emotions, and can give immediate feedback. They are non-judgmental responding to a person's intent or behavior. Because they are herd animals, their social personalities assist with building relationships. Horses can help rebuild mental, emotional, physical, and cognitive health.
