Family run horse operation growing and improving each year, building a strong foundation from the start.
Established in 2015, based on a dream, and a "generic" Hancock stud colt, Scott drove me all over the US to create a herd of foundation Blue Valentine Horses. After a lot of research, I decided that Blue Valentine/Hancock Horses were what I wanted to raise. In 2016 Scott and I were married, and we really started to build a herd. It wasn't long and my 5 turned into 10, then 20 and still counting. What a dream!! Horses are my spiritual, soulful partner. A horse is a reflection of the hands of the person at the end of the rope or the rein. My passion my entire life has been to learn from, own, and share horses. I have been given the opportunity to do it now and I feel completely BLESSED.
We strive to breed quality horses, with a trainable mind, good bone, that will not break down over the years and are versatile enough to do what ever their rider needs them to do. The best thing about our horses is their dispositions!

We Partner together to make this all happen. Scott is the muscle. Kristie has had the calling. I am blessed to be able to follow my calling, one step at a time. Without Scott and the kids, none of this could be possible. God didn't say it had to be perfect or pretty. He did not say it would be easy. He just said it should be.....so I Go.
The Kids
All of the kids have helped along the way!! Even though Isaiah has graduated HS, gone to college, and is now starting a life with his new fiancé Autumn he was a big part of the start of Lazy T Diamond Horses. Rebecca, back left, is starting HS rodeo. She is our horse wrangler and mom's assistant. Kennedy, front left, has ridden in the play days, loves the babies, and is also mom's assistant. Scotty front right, helps with the repairs and whatever dad needs. Has also been roped in to assist mom. The kids have always done chores before and after school and are an important part of making sure everything is taken care of. We are so grateful!! They are hard workers, and we are PROUD of them all!
Fort Rice, ND
Located along the back water of the Missouri River, we are nestled in a beautiful piece of land off of HWY 1806. Each year we strive to make improvements to our program, whether its to the herd or the property. It is always a work in progress. We have set up our pastures so that we can cell graze and conserve the pastures as long as possible. Our horses have learned the rotation and it has worked well. The backdrop of the buttes and river are such a great working environment!! We enjoy the wildlife of deer, pheasant, grouse and even turkeys.
MILES
Miles our donkey has a very important job as well. He is not just an ordinary donkey; he is a compassionate hug when you need it most. Miles main job here is supposed to be halter breaking all of the weanling foals. He came to us from Virginia. He has quite the unforgettable personality. But he braes at you to tell you when its feeding time and is pretty bossy over his little herd in the pasture!!! Make sure to get a picture with him on your visiti!!
